The story behind ShoreLink Shipping

The history goes as far back as 1889 when JW Grundberg & Co started their ship clearance business in Örnsköldsvik.

The business was expanded in the 1960s through the purchase of Philip Björkeroth & Sons' business in Piteå, which was renamed Grundbergs Shipping. In 1995, the company was bought up by Bottenvikens Stuveri AB.

I Skellefteå started 1928 Philip Björkeroth & Son clearing business. In 1945, John Dahl bought the majority share of the business and changed the name to Dahl & Björkeroth. In 1982, the company became part of Bothnavikens Stuveri. IN Skellefteå Risberg Shipping has also been an actor and in 1988 became part of Bothnavikens Stuveri. In 2005 Grundbergs Shipping and Risberg Shipping were merged with Dahl & Björkeroth and two years later the company changed its name to Bay of Bothnia AB.

Even in the Luleå operations, the history goes back to 1889 when Larson & Lind was founded. In 1983, they bought up Luleå Shipping AB, which was previously called Luleå Spedition AB. The company became part of Bothvikens Stuveri in 2012.
