In 1954, the brothers Nils and Per Svärdsudd from Piteå bought a developed agricultural tractor. The idea behind the purchase was to use the tractor as a supplement to its bus operations at the time. Soon they expanded with a back loader and began to carry out snow removal tasks and drives in the resort.
In 1956, operations began at SCA's paper mill. Over the years, it has greatly expanded its tasks with more machines and a larger workforce as a result.
In 1977 the truck operations at SCA were taken over by Bottenvikens Stuveri AB and in connection with that the bus operations were wound down. Three years later, the company was bought by Bottenvikens Stuveri.
