At the turn of the year 2026, ShoreLink Transport is taking a big step forward. With a new long-term agreement with SCA Munksund, the company is not only strengthening a collaboration – they are also building a completely new workplace where people, safety and the future are at the center.
ShoreLink Transport has long been responsible for machine ownership and maintenance at SCA Munksund paper mill. Now the collaboration is entering the next stage with a new agreement that means ShoreLink Transport will take over internal transport:
"It's more than an agreement. It's the start of a joint journey where we build a modern, sustainable and safe workplace together with SCA," says Peter Mörtlund, CEO of ShoreLink Transport.
25 new colleagues – the heart of the initiative
To create the transportation solution of the future, ShoreLink will welcome around 25 new employees after the turn of the year – 13 of whom currently work at SCA. A new operations manager is already in place and recruitment for several key roles will continue during the autumn.
– Every new employee is an important part of our future. We want to create a culture where people thrive, develop and feel involved in both everyday life and in the bigger picture, says Peder Wennberg, business area manager at ShoreLink Transport.

The transport solution of the future – with people at the center
The new collaboration is not just about logistics. It's about building a business where innovation meets experience, where safety and the work environment always come first, and sustainability is a given.
Investing in both people and machines creates the conditions for efficient, modern and climate-smart solutions. But above all, ShoreLink is building a workplace where employees are at the center – where there is room to grow and take pride in their work.
Looking ahead
The fact that the company has been entrusted to take over the internal transport is a clear indication of the work that has been appreciated. But for ShoreLink Transport, this is just the beginning. They want to be part of shaping the future of transport – a future where sustainability, technology and people go hand in hand – with new colleagues in place:
– It feels fantastic that we have received SCA's trust, and we are really looking forward to welcoming our new employees to ShoreLink, says Peter.
