ShoreLink is taking an important step in its digital development by introducing the Port from Greig Connect port system (PMIS – Port Management Information System).
The new system is a versatile tool that supports the entire chain of port operations – from vessel calls and resource planning to invoicing, statistics, data analysis, ISPS compliance and gate activities. By bringing together these functions, better conditions are created for efficient operations and data-driven decision-making.
– This is an important step for us in our work to improve and simplify our processes. With Port, we get better support for ship calls and at the same time create a smoother everyday life for our employees. It gives us the right tools to continue developing and meet the demands of the future, says Mikael Lundström, IT Manager at ShoreLink.
The implementation is taking place in collaboration with Grieg Connect, which has extensive experience in developing digital solutions for ports and terminals.
– We are very pleased to be collaborating with ShoreLink. Their clear focus on efficiency and digitalization makes them an ideal partner. With Port, they get a flexible and future-proof platform that can grow with their business, says Espen Ranvik, CEO of Grieg Connect.
Through this investment, ShoreLink takes a natural step forward in shaping the future of port operations. Digitalization is a crucial driving force, and the introduction of Port creates the conditions for smarter and more sustainable working methods throughout the organization and in collaboration with our port owners. The investment is a concrete step towards ShoreLink's goal of becoming Sweden's most productive and sustainable port operator by 2030.
