ItAn extensive investment in new IT infrastructure has been made and will be implemented in 2013. Since mid-April, commissioning has been underway. At the bottom is a new server room with a redundant cooling system that uses our geothermal heating system. It is about the latest technology where the warm air that is led away is reused for heating in the rest of the property. The IT investment includes virtualization of server operation, new storage network, new backup solution and thin clients at our workplaces. This increases flexibility and gives our users the ability to access central applications at any time, regardless of which device they are sitting at. The solution also provides more efficient scalability to quickly rebuild or expand the infrastructure when the business changes. With a centralized operation, the administration is reduced and the maintenance of our client computers will be greatly simplified. The actual implementation takes place together with the suppliers Atea and Lindata. The introduction, which is divided into several different phases, is planned and led by Magnus Jonsson, IT expert at ShoreLink.
