To meet the increased volumes in the new container line, which has been calling at Haraholmen in Piteå since June 2014, ShoreLink is investing in a new container terminal system from Hogia Logistics Solutions AB.
“An efficient workflow is crucial, not least in this type of unit-based container business,” says Nina Lidberg, Marketing Manager at ShoreLink. Of course, it is also a great advantage that we can now offer our customers better control and reduced administration for them as well.
The system will be launched in spring 2015 and includes modules for booking, location management, work orders, depot, gate, billing and invoice documentation. In concrete terms, work with invoicing, for example, will take significantly less time when the work is done with automated flows and EDI.
"We evaluated possible solutions and Hogia has several well-functioning installations that meet our needs. It is also a terminal system that is flexible and can be expanded with," concludes Nina Lidberg.
