On Tuesday, a 220-ton transformer was unloaded from the ship MS/Rike in KalixThe lifting itself was carried out with two ship cranes lifting together. A special trailer then transported the transformer to Djupkärn in KalixA couple of containers were also unloaded with the same final destination.
The assignment was unique in its kind due to the enormous weight and the fact that it is not common for such project loads to be unloaded in Kalix.
