ShoreLink operates in four locations, Kalix, Luleå, Piteå and Skellefteå. The head office and the largest terminal operation, in terms of number of employees, is located on Haraholmen in Piteå. We are now looking for a supervisor who, together with two additional supervisors, will lead the daily work with cargo handling.
duties
The work as a supervisor involves planning, distributing and leading the work of loading and unloading goods. It also includes administrative work such as documentation and reporting. The work places high demands on safety and that regulations and work instructions are followed to prevent accidents and ill health. Personnel responsibility is included in the role.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience as a manager with personnel responsibility, preferably from the industrial, transport or logistics industry. Post-secondary education is an advantage but not a requirement. Good knowledge of speaking English is something you have, as many of the ships' crews come from other countries.
As a person, you have a very good ability to build relationships and an ability to get along well with people at all levels. You have a methodical and systematic way of working and communicate clearly.
