ShoreLink AB is looking for temporary workers as a ship agent for ShoreLink in Luleå as well as both temporary and permanent employment as a ship agent for ShoreLink in Skellefteå.
The position of ship agent involves acting as a representative for shipowners and masters when the ship calls at port. The work includes responsibility for:
- Coordinate logistics between ships and cargo in the port
- Maintain ongoing contact with, among others, the Coast Guard, pilots, Customs, as well as boatswains and stevedore personnel in the port before and during ship calls.
- Administer the ship's document management.
- Offer service to the ship's crew and the shipping company while the ship is at berth.
- Administration of all finances regarding port calls.
- Act as an agent for authorities and suppliers when charging costs that the shipowner must pay.
We are looking for you:
Who is a team player, can effectively multitask and is passionate about high service. You enjoy working in an international environment and having many different types of contacts with both authorities and companies.
Requirement:
- Driving licence B
- Good English in speech and writing
Merit:
- Post-secondary education in logistics, economics and similar fields
- Work experience in shipping and port operations
