We are looking for an IT manager who takes on the role of further developing the group's IT strategy and structure so that it contributes to reaching the business's goals. The role creates many opportunities to influence the group's development, design processes and secure a long-term and sustainable IT structure.
Your responsibility will be to drive and plan the development of the IT business, operation and support, so that it supports the needs that exist. Your data mainly includes:
- Develop and be responsible for the company's IT environment and infrastructure both operationally and strategically and ensure that their operation is cost-effective and secure.
- Responsible for translating business needs and proposing system solutions for these.
- Responsible for the introduction of new systems in the business together with those concerned.
- Responsible for initiating and running IT projects.
The work requires close cooperation with all functions within ShoreLink. This means creating a good knowledge of the business, and being in and close to different parts to gain good insight and understanding.
You are part of our staff function, report to the Chief of Staff and work at our head office in Piteå. The work includes sometimes also working at our other locations.
Your profile
To succeed in the role, we believe that you have experience from a broad IT role. You have a relevant academic education in computer/systems science or equivalent acquired knowledge.
Furthermore, you have experience with different systems, are used to working with processes and have experience in coordinating and leading projects. There is an advantage if you have experience from industry or production. You also have good experience in negotiations.
As a person, you are relationship-building and are good at collaborating with people with different skills and professional roles. You are analytical, structured and long-term and can work goal-oriented based on overall plans.
