Peter Mörtlund becomes the new CEO of ShoreLink

The board of ShoreLink AB has appointed Peter Mörtlund as the new CEO. He most recently came from a position as General Manager and CEO of Boliden Bergsöe, where he worked for the past three years. He will take up the post in late summer 2021.

- We are very satisfied with our recruitment of Peter Mörtlund. He is an experienced leader with a proven ability to deliver results. It feels safe that he will lead ShoreLink into the future, where efficient logistics will become increasingly important for the development of the region's business life, says Patrick Bäckström, chairman of the board of ShoreLink.

Previously, Peter Mörtlund worked at LKAB in various roles, including as CEO of the sales company in the USA and as head of the magnetite business area.

- I am looking forward to coming to the region that is currently the hottest in Sweden, with the expansion that is being carried out. The work as CEO at ShoreLink feels fantastically exciting and the company is an important piece of the puzzle for the companies and thus the business life in the region, says Peter Mörtlund.

Current CEO Susanne Jangdal announced in October 2020 that she is leaving the position as CEO during the summer of 2021.

In recent years, the ShoreLink group has grown and now has a turnover of just over SEK 300 million compared to under SEK 200 million 10 years ago. Several major challenges have been dealt with in recent years, where, among other things, parts for wind turbines entailed many and very heavy loads. New types of goods such as house modules have also been successfully handled.
