We support association life again this year

During 2020, we at ShoreLink sponsored SEK 2500 each week to a non-profit organization, where the organizations were nominated by our own employees. Now, for 2021, we are sponsoring the same total amount to the association community and it is time for the associations to apply.

-Associations are welcome to apply here via our website , says Anna Malmström, communications manager and project manager for the initiative. The mandatory counter-requirement is a photo that is posted on the association's website and/or social media. In addition, the associations must justify what the money will be used for and present how we can be seen together.

Last year's project resulted in around fifty non-profit organizations receiving sponsorship. This was widely visible on our social media, where all recipient organizations have been published.

"There was a great variety of associations last year," says Anna. It was quite natural that the proportion of sports associations was large, but local and snowmobile associations were also among those who received sponsorship.

Among the sports clubs, the spread among sports was large, everything from cheerleading, riding clubs, sport fishing to football, hockey and taekwondo. The geographical spread was from Kalix in the north to Skellefteå in the south.
-Now we look forward to 2021 and more rewarding collaborations, concludes Anna.

In addition to the above, ShoreLink sponsors Piteå IF DFF, Luleå hockey/MSSK and Luleå Basket.
