The Transport Workers' Union (local, department 1 in Luleå), has chosen to terminate the current local agreement with ShoreLink and announced that it is leaving the ongoing negotiations.
This means that the central collective agreement will apply from July 1, 2025.
As a result, work will shift to daytime hours, and opportunities for overtime will be more limited than before.
ShoreLink regrets that the parties have not reached an agreement, but continues to work actively to find a solution in dialogue with all parties concerned.
– We have great respect for the commitment of our employees and for the dialogue that is being conducted with the union. It is of course always regrettable when negotiations do not lead all the way forward, but we will continue the talks during the week. In the meantime, we are doing our utmost to ensure that the business functions as well as possible – both for our employees and for our customers, says Peter Mörtlund, CEO of ShoreLink.
ShoreLink continues its operations in accordance with the current collective agreement and will provide ongoing information on any changes.
